When in use, timber is exposed to both natural and other activities, such as rain, sun, cold, dust, and others. Step 1: The timber is placed in the treatment machine/chamber, creating a vacuum (space) in the timber cells.
Step 2: The chamber is then filled with the tanalising (CCA) preservation. At the same time, the pressure is applied within the chamber, causing the preservative to get soaked within the timber cells.
Step 3: Depending on the species of timber, the pressure is continuously applied for enough time for the preservative to properly soak into the wood. After that, the remaining solution is pulled back.
Step 4: The timber is then left as it is for a specific period for the preservative to get properly soaked and fixed into it.
The final product is stronger, more robust and highly resistant to climate conditions.
